Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, one of last year’s overlooked games, is hoping to reignite interest with a free demo.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden launched in December last year, so it didn’t have as much of a chance to show itself off to players, or wow critics in time for the end-of-year lists.
Developer The Bearded Ladies is hoping to turn this around through the release of a free demo on Steam. The demo is available now completely free. The best part is that you can download it anytime, and not just during a limited window as most demos today demand.
As for content, the Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden demo includes the beginning of the game up to and including the Ark’s introduction. This should be enough for players to get acclimated with the game’s combat, and world. Mutant Year Zero opens up after reaching the Ark, of course, but that part isn’t included in the demo.
It’s a small download, too, at around 4GB. If you’re curious about Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, check out the gameplay video below to get an idea of what the game is, and head over to the Steam link above to grab the demo.
