Bethesda game placeholder on Amazon shows a Fallout-style countdown video

Well, here's something interesting: there's a placeholder up on Amazon which lists a Bethesda title complete with a Fallout-style countdown video.

An Amazon listing has popped up and it shows a Fallout-style countdown video, which has many scratching their heads- ourselves included.

The placeholder was found by Wario64 and posted on Twitter.  A standard, deluxe and collector's edition are each listed for the item along with a pre-order option. Platforms are PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Because this is a placeholder, the release date is listed as December 31, and the price for all three editions is $59.99.

This is because the actual release date and price are unknown at this time.

What could it be? Gematsu has suggested the listing could be for a remastered Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas. Either one would be swell, but the latter would be super swell in our opinion.

Bethesda is always one to keep things close to its chest until it's ready to make an announcement, so don't expect word on what this is any time soon. But we could be wrong.

The listing could also be for a completely different game, too. Or some sort of screw-up on Amazon's part. We aren't psychic. If we were, we'd have already won the Mega Millions and bought an island. With monkey butlers, who every night regale us with jungle stories.

We'll keep our eyes peeled for you.
