Pokemon Go Limited Research event this weekend stars Water-type Clamperl

Professor Willow is conducting Limited Research on the Water-type Pokemon Clamperl this Saturday in Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Go players have new Field Research tasks to look forward to this weekend with the Limited Research event.

In order to obtain your Field Research tasks, head to the nearest PokeStop and Spin the Photo Disc encounters. Completing the Limited Research tasks will award you encounters with Clamperl.

While you're working on the research, keep an eye out for other Water-type Pokemon, such as Krabby and Wailmer.

The Clamperl Limited Research event takes place February 23, and runs through the following times:

As long as you’ve collected the Limited Research during the event window, you can complete it at any time. Don’t forget—you’ll need to visit many PokeStops in order to get new Field Research tasks and encounter as many Clamperl as possible.

During the three-hour window, you will also receive 2× Catch Stardust for Water-type Pokemon, which will also appear more frequently in the wild.

Have fun.
