Nintendo has provided more information on Fire Emblem: Three Houses along with a release date.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses finally has a firm release date.

Three Houses takes place Fodlan, where the Church of Seiros exerts immense control over its people. In the game, three noble houses make up the Officer’s Academy, an elite facility that trains students in the ways of weapons, magic and special skills.

These houses are the Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and Golden Deer.

Each house is comprised of many different students to meet and train, each with her or his own personality and skills. These students can interact with each other at the academy, strengthening their bonds and supporting each other on the battlefield.

As a professor, the player must choose one of these houses, and its students in grid-based battles with “life-or-death stakes.”

You will be able to maneuver the main character freely, and interact with other characters in order to build relationships and gather information. New troop formations will bring an extra strategic layer to the game during each battle.

Two editions of the game were announced during this evening’s Nintendo Direct: the standard and the Fire Emblem: Three Houses – Seasons of Warfare Edition. The latter includes the game, artbook, sound selection CD, steelbook case, and calendar for $99.99.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses was announced in 2017 for a 2018 release, before seeing a delay. It will now release for Switch on July 26.
