Pokemon Go players can soon take pictures easier using the GO Snapshot feature

Niantic Labs has announced a new snapshot feature for Pokemon Go.

Pokemon Go players will soon be able to use a new feature called GO Snapshot which provides an easy way to take pictures of Pokemon in your Pokemon Storage.

You can find the feature when looking at a specific Pokemon or accessing the camera in your Bag of items.

To use, all you need to do is select a Pokemon and tap on the screen to throw its Poke Ball to that spot. Once your critter is situated in the ideal spot, you can then move it around to find the best angle.

To get your Pokemon's attention for a better snapshot, just brush across it and it will turn to face you.

All photos taken will be saved to your device automatically, and can be shared via social media.

A release date for the GO Snapshot feature in Pokemon Go will be announced at a later date.
