Mortal Kombat 11: additional characters outed through Steam achievement list - rumor

The achievements list for Mortal Kombat 11 on Steam  has purportedly leaked, outing unannounced fighters in the process.

Quick note: as usual, file what you see below as a rumor until an official announcement is made, and beware of possible spoilers.

A list of Mortal Kombat 11 achievements for the PC version have popped up on  SteamDB.

Going over the list, it appears fighters such as Jade, Frost, and Kotal Kahn will be part of the roster, at least at release. The achievements only list the first three letters of the character name, so we're doing our best to guess the fighters.

CAS will obviously be Cassie Cage and LIU is Liu Kang as both popped up in gameplay and developer videos.  ERR could be Erron Black, the cowboy fella who was introduced in Mortal Kombat X.

Other initials on the list, such as KUN, could be Kung Lao or his younger cousin Kung Jin.

There's also RAI, which could easily be Raiden or Rain. But Scorpion, Baraka, Skarlet, and Kano are each listed, so it's likely Raiden.

Keep in mind this can't be entire batch of achievements, because not every Mortal Kombat 11 character revealed so far is on the SteamDB list.

  • Kun - Kung Lao (or Kung Jin)
  • Cas - Cassie Cage
  • Jad - Jade
  • Fro - Frost
  • Kot - Kotal Kahn
  • Jac - Jacqui (Jax's daughter)
  • Err - Erron Black
  • Liu - Liu Kang

Other initials noted in the achievements include CET, KOL and TER which we can't figure out at the moment, as they are likely new or guest characters.

Resetera is hoping TER stands for Terminator (we are too). Jason Voorhees, Alien, and Predator made guest appearances MKX, so Terminator wouldn't be a stretch.

Again, take this as a rumor for now. We'll update you with any additional information as it comes.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases April 23 on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. A beta will be held beforehand on March 28 and here’s how to get in it.
