Destiny 2: Forsaken: Ascendant Challenge week 3 guide - Spine of Keres

It's week 3 of the Ascendant Challenge playlist, so here's how to blast through it.

As always, to trigger this challenge you'll need to first speak to Petra Venj and accept the Ascendant Challenge weekly bounty from here. Make sure you've got some Tincture of Queensfoil to hand, too.

"Climb the bones and you'll find your ruin," is what the challenge's description reads, which is intentionally vague.

First, you'll need to head to the Observatory, which is where you usually hand in the Oracle Offerings. If you're unfamiliar with where that is, check out this video from Arekkz for the shortest route.

When you reach it, head inside and take a left, go through the door and turn right. Once you hit the fence, drink a Tincture of the Queensfoil. This activates a shortcut, which you'll see in the platforms that materialise in front of you.

Jump over the platforms, and take the bridge. When you reach the other side, keep following the road until you reach the portal. You should see this portal before crossing the bridge, which makes it a bit easier to track where you need to go.

Going through the portal activates the challenge. In this platforming challenge, your goal is simply to reach the top and kill the boss. Of course, not all platforms can be easily seen, and there are a few misleading pathways you'll need to avoid.

You'll also have to watch out for enemy snipers, and traps that'll kick you off the platforms. The video above shows the safest way of reaching the top, but it can be fun to try and figure out the way to the top by yourself. Keep note of the glowing orbs on some platforms, they'll help guide you.

At the very top, you'll see a big hole in the ceiling, this is what you're aiming for. As soon as you enter, the boss will spawn and you can kill it to claim your loot. Be careful not to fall into the hole you came in through, though.
