Yakuza Kiwami PC release date confirmed on Steam

Blink and you'll miss it, in the newly posted gif over on the game's Steam page.

Sega has announced the PC release date of Yakuza Kiwami. Well, sort of. The launch date flashes up for a millisecond at the end of a gif posted on the game's Steam page (via @Nibellion), and according to that, we can expect to see the PC port arrive on February 19.

Yakuza Kiwami was announced for PC last summer along with Yakuza 0. The latter made its Steam debut in August, 2018, while Steam updates in November suggested that Kiwami's release was imminent.

The title is a remake of the series' first game and includes a slew of updates and improvements.

Currently the store page still has "coming soon" as the available date, but the animated gif under the heading "MAJIMAAAA!" is all but an official confirmation.

Remakes of Yakuza 3 through 5 will eventually release on PS4, and they'll hopefully get PC ports not too long afterwards.
