Realm Royale goes into open beta on PS4 and Xbox One tomorrow

Hi-Rez Studios is opening up the Realm Royale beta on consoles to everyone.

Realm Royale, Hi-Rez Studios' battle royale shooter based on Paladins' world and heroes, first hit the scene last year. After a successful PC launch, the game entered closed beta on PS4, and Xbox One.

Though player numbers, at least on PC, took a big hit in the following months, Hi-Rez has renewed its commitment to the game and its player base in the new year.

The first item on the agenda is the Realm Royale open beta, which goes live tomorrow, January 22 on PS4, and Xbox One. This is the first time the game will be available without the need of special invite codes.

The studio is also planning more new content and updates for the game in 2019, with details to be revealed soon.

Hi-Rez Studios also revealed in an email that the Switch version of Smite will enter closed beta before the end of the month, with an open beta to follow shortly after.
