Second Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 pre-order beta kicks off next week

The second Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 pre-order beta kicks off next week, and there's a new trailer available to get you excited.

Space RTS sequel Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 will have another beta test on January 15, and if you pre-ordered, you're in.

The beta will feature the first sectors of the Imperial and Necron campaign storylines. The tester will also feature all the multiplayer and skirmish options. This includes the 12 playable factions, over 80 subfactions, ranked play, and custom map options with environmental effects from the first beta.

You can also expect updates with new balance adjustments and bug fixes.

Alongside news of the second beta is a campaign trailer. It breaks down "every facet" of the 100+ hours that can easily be spent" in Armada 2 single-player. Every campaign is also playable in co-op, with two players controlling a split fleet in each battle.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 releases January 24 with three, full grand campaigns allowing you to control humanity’s combined Imperial forces, the Necron empire, or the Tyranid Hive Fleets. Next week's beta will run up until release.
