God of War leads nominations in 12 categories for 22nd annual D.I.C.E. Awards
The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) has announced nominees for the 22nd D.I.C.E. Awards with God of War leading the pack.
Winners of the D.I.C.E. Awards will be announced during a ceremony on Friday, February 13 in Las Vegas and God of War leads the group with 12 nominations, one of which is Game of the Year.
Last year, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild won game of the year, and walked off with three other awards.
Other titles nominated for Game of the Year are: Into the Breach, Marvel's Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Return of the Obra Dinn.
Several other games were nominated in multiple categories including: Marvel's Spider-Man with 11, Red Dead Redemption 2 with eight and Return of the Obra Dinn with six nods.
ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission, Detroit: Become Human, Florence, and Into the Breach received four nods each, while Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Moss each received three.
Honored this year as the Hall of Fame recipient will be Bonnie Ross, Microsoft Corporate Vice President and Head of 343 Industries.
The ceremony will once again be live streamed in its entirety February 13 starting at 8pm PT, 11pm ET, 4am UK (Feb. 14) through IGN.
