Next week's Destiny 2 patch will make it easier to reach 600 Power

The grind to 600 Power in Destiny 2 is proving more arduous than Bungie initially intended, and a fix is on the way.

Bungie has revealed in the weekly update that Destiny 2's update 2.1.3 will launch on Tuesday, December 18.

The update brings a couple of key changes, most interesting of which is an upgrade to rewards for players below 600 Power. This is the second time Bungie has adjusted this rate, with the first pass having dropped with the most recent patch.

More specially, the upcoming update will boost reward Power for challenges listed on the Director. Power 600 is required to access The Black Armory's new Lost Forges activity.

Elsewhere in the patch notes, Bungie noted that 1000 Voices is currently doing more damage than intended, which is being fixed.

The Veterans of the Hunt bundle, a reward package Bungie has been promising since the original game was made part of Forsaken, is finally dropping with patch 2.1.3.

Beyond that, Bungie announced that Iron Banner will return between December 25 - January 1. This being the first one in Season 5, you can look forward to new gear. All players will also benefit from double Valor between December 25-28, and triple Valir from December 28 to January 1.

  • We have a fix planned in 2.1.3 to address issues affecting damage from 1000 Voices on PC
