Super Smash Bros. Ultimate replays will be wiped with next patch - better save them now

Just a quick heads up: be sure to save your Super Smash Bros. Ultimate replays because the next patch will wipe them.

Nintendo will release a new update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate within the next week, and once applied, you won't be able to watch replays made with previous versions.

Current replays won't be compatible with version 1.2.0, so Nintendo suggests players save replays as videos.

To do this, head to the Vault, select Replays, then Replay Data, and Convert to Video.

Nintendo hasn't provided information on what the upcoming patch entails, but will post the notes when the update goes live.

In the meantime, the first weekly event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate kicks off this weekend. You can find out more about it through the link.

Thanks, Nintendo Everything.
