First changes to Battlefield 5 TTK will start rolling out tomorrow

DICE will make the first adjustments to Time to Kill and Time to Death in Battlefield 5 starting tomorrow.

Battlefield 5 players will notice the first changes to damage models in the game tomorrow, according to DICE.

The developer said it will be making some changes to  Time to Kill (TTK) and Time to Death (TTD), and future improvements are in the works for TTD.

These changes will "directly impact" TTK across the game to "ensure a more even gameplay experience" for all players. These changes will roll out globally across all servers starting on Wednesday, December 12.

Since both TTK and TTD are closely intertwined, the TTD improvements in an upcoming patch will touch upon netcode, damage and health feedback, and more.

On top of this, the studio is providing a new playlist called Conquest Core for those who prefer the current damage model.

"We also recognize that a highly engaged portion of our community prefers the current damage model as it is," said DICE in the announcement. "To account for this, we have set up a new server playlist called “Conquest Core”. This will be live tomorrow as well.

"Please use this new playlist when comparing the two models as your feedback on both is instrumental in helping us improve Battlefield 5’s gameplay experience."

DICE said the new playlist will evolve over time and is "the first step" toward a traditional Hardcore  experience for Battlefield  players.

Update notes will be provided tomorrow.
