Yakuza dev's new game, Judgement, launches summer 2019 in the West

Project Judge, the new game from the developer of the Yakuza series, will indeed be making its way to the west.

Project Judge, or Judge Eyes as it's known in Japan, was first unveiled at TGS 2018 in September.

The game features a mix of crime investigation and action, where you play as Takayuki Yagami in Tokyo's Kamurocho district. Sega officially announced that Judgement is due west in summer 2019. Not only that, the game will be fully localised with English voices.

This is a stark contrast to the Yakuza games, which were translated but not dubbed. The publisher released a new trailer over the weekend, which is nearly identical to the announcement trailer, only with English voices.

If your Japanese is decent, a demo for Judge Eyes is available on the Japanese PSN. If not, check out Alex's impressions of the game along with some 4K gameplay footage at the link.
