Red Dead Online Bard's Crossing treasure map guide - where is the chest?
Looking to find the Bard’s Crossing treasure in Red Dead Online? Come on in.
Red Dead Online is a sandbox multiplayer game stuffed with freeform activities. Among those activities are treasure maps, which unlock periodically as you progress.
Unlike in the single-player, these aren’t just photos of locations. Instead, an area on your map gets highlighted, you head to it, then you have to scout the area for the treasure.
While it sounds easier, some people are still getting stuck - particularly on the treasure chest located at Bard’s Crossing. Here’s how you find it.

The obvious first step is to head to the highlighted area. From there, there are three possible locations the chest can spawn.
The easiest way to find it is to search with eagle-eye activated, by pushing in both thumbsticks simultaneously. This will highlight the chest with a gold trial.
Still can’t find it? Scour the edge of the zone, as the chest often spawns on the cliff edge, or in a little rocky area at the bottom of the cliff. Here’s a video showing exactly where the three possible locations are:
