While you’re out gallivanting in the wilderness, keep your eye out for the Whisky Tree in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Like other RDR2 easter eggs, the Whisky Tree is one of the many locations that Rockstar has crafted which helps bring the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 to life.

If you're in the mood for a bit of sightseeing, and are thinking of heading off on a trek to find it, you'll also get rewarded with a gold nugget for your troubles. If you're not sure where to start, then here is how to find the Whisky Tree in Red Dead Redemption 2.

How to find the Whisky Tree in RDR2

If you want to find the Whisky Tree in Red Dead Redemption 2, you just need to head East from Flatneck Station. Sadly, this tree doesn’t actually produce any whisky, but there are a few dozen bottles tied to its branches and one of them has a gold nugget inside.

You can find the exact map location for the RDR2 Whisky Tree below:

The Whisky Tree is standing on its own so is quite easy to see, and there’s a convict wandering around the area whose shackles you can choose to shoot off or ignore if you fancy increasing (or decreasing) your Honor Rank, but that's for another time.

Once you’re close to the tree, use your Eagle Eye and you’ll see one of the bottles is glowing. Shoot it, and once it hits the ground you’ll see that it dropped a gold nugget that you can sell.

If you need a hand selling your newfound loot, we've got a guide on how to sell gold, which will help you make money fast. If you're still short on cash, you can also head to the derailed train location and solve the Strange Statues puzzle to get some extra gold bars.
