Battlefield 5 is almost here - check out the launch trailer

Battlefield 5 is out in a couple of weeks, which means it's time to watch the launch trailer.

DICE will release Battlefield 5 to the general public November 20, but Origin Access Premier subscribers started playing yesterday.

Those who purchased the Battlefield 5 Deluxe Edition can start playing next week on November 15. The rest of us will have to wait until its worldwide release.

A few outlets were given a chance to play early, and there are a few review scores out in the wild. Most are in-progress, like our own, but more will drop next week. The round-up will be updated when additional scores are published. At present, what scores are available are rather good.

Quite a bit of information on Battlefield 5 is available, allowing folks to become acquainted with the content ahead of time. The campaign will consist of multiple War Stories, set for a staggered release and the 64-player battle royale mode, Firestorm, arrives in March. The game will launch with eight multiplayer maps.

Many online games release with known issues generally fixed with a day-one update. DICE has provided a list of known issues it will address in an upcoming patch.
