Phantom Halls leaves Steam Early Access, online co-op coming soon

Phantom Halls, the unique side-scrolling action horror game, has officially launched out of Steam Early Access.

Phantom Halls is a B-movie-inspired comedy horror game from indie developer Incendium. The game has a distinct look with 3D papercraft models and cartooney gore.

Playable solo or in local co-op, Phantom Halls tasks players with surviving the night in a haunted house. You control a squad of teens as they murder their way through the house, using a varied arsenal of weapons. You'll also be picking up crafting materials along the way to turn into useful tools.

The action plays out in a traditional side-scrolling fashion, but the art style works well with the exaggerated gore to create this B-movie feel. Incendium even went out and licensed the cabin from the Evil Dead series.

The developer is currently working on adding online co-op, and you can check it out for yourself on Steam.
