PSA: don’t use razor wire in Hardcore in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 if you don’t want to get kicked

As always with online games, there are a few kinks that need ironing out of Black Ops 4 at launch.

One problem players have already started to notice is in Hardcore mode, which turns on friendly fire and drops enemies with a single well-placed shot.

If you team kill, you'll get booted from the game. Unfortunately, this also applies for if you put down razor wire at a choke point and one of your dumb teammates runs through it.

Currently, it’s probably best to not use razor wire at all in Hardcore. At least until Treyarch fixes it.

Ideally, the developer should tweak it so razor wire doesn’t hurt your teammates, even in Hardcore. If not, make it so the player who places the wire isn’t kicked for their teammate’s ineptitude.

Hopefully, we get a hotfix for this soon. Treyarch has already released a patch for Black Ops 4 although it's unclear if this has fixed the issue. You can see all the major changes since October 30 here.

In the meantime, check out our guide for Blackout, the all-new battle royale mode. We also have a list for the best perks to use in Blackout.
