Pokemon Go Gen 4: Sinnoh region Pokemon are here along with changes to CP and HP values

Ninatic Labs has released the latest Pokemon Go update which adds Generation 4 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region.

Generation 4 Pokemon are now available in Pokemon Go which means there are 107 new Pokemon to catch.

Sinnoh region creatures were originally found in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and Pokemon Platinum. Players can expect to finally encounter Chimchar, Piplup, and Turtwig and many others.

The Pokemon will be released in waves, so keep an eye out for additional Pokemon over the next few weeks. They will appear in the wild and all the other ways Pokemon appear in-game.

Current word has it there are region-exclusive Pokemon with today's update, and at present, this applies to Carnivine, Chatot, and Pachirisu.

While Niantic said it will roll Pokemon out slowly, it's possible these creatures will appear elsewhere. Or not. We'll have to wait and see.

As usual, the Silph Road is on top of things, and has listed the region in which the Pokemon are appearing: Carnivine is appearing in many areas of the south and southeastern portion of the states.

Pachirisu is being spotting in Canada, and Chatot in Australia and other regions in the southern hemisphere such as Africa, Brazil, and Chile.

Ninatic said it will post more information on the Pokemon, along with the new features, and expansions to existing features like and more soon.

Last week the company announced a balance change would be headed to Pokemon Go, and according to Silph Road, some gym favorites with high HP stats have been nerfed a bit.

Chansey and Blissey have had their maximum CP values nerfed considerably, according to Nintendo Life. This will make the Pokemon easier to beat. Snorlax, Slaking and Rhydon were also eased back a bit.

CP value improvements were made to Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Dragonite, Gyarados, Gardevoir, and Machamp, but as Nintendo Life notes, some defence stats may have been lowered. Be sure to check the latest chart update from the folks at Silph Road.
