Fallout 76 stress test being held this weekend for Xbox Insiders who pre-ordered

Xbox Insiders who pre-ordered Fallout 76 on Xbox One can stress test the game this weekend ahead of the closed beta.

Bethesda announced today Xbox Insiders will be able to stress test Fallout 76 this weekend.

Being an Xbox Insider isn't a guarantee you will be selected, even if you pre-ordered Fallout 76, but keep an eye on your console's Insider Content tab just in case.

Upon launching the Xbox Insider Hub on your console, if you see “Fallout 76 Stress Test” under the Insider Content tab, this means you have been selected.

If you pre-ordered the physical version of Fallout 76 on Xbox One, log in to your Bethesda.net account to see if you received a token to redeem on your Xbox.

The first Fallout 76 stress test will begin on Saturday, October 13. Start times will be announced on Bethesda's and the Fallout Twitter channels. The schedule will also be displayed in-game on the Start screen.

This will be a small, timed stress test exclusive to North America, and progress will not carry over. Content is also under NDA, so know that going in if you are selected.

It will feature an early version of the full game, and is not the same version being used for the B.E.T.A. or launch.

The Fallout 76 beta goes live on Xbox One on October 23, and PS4 and PC players can get in on October 30. If you download the beta on PC, you don’t have to redownload the game at launch.

Fallout 76 releases November 14 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Here's everything we know about the game so far.
