Overwatch Halloween Terror event returns next week

Blizzard has confirmed the return date of Overwatch's Halloween Terror event.

After teasing it last month, Blizzard has now revealed that the Overwatch Halloween Terror event is coming back Tuesday, October 9.

Today's announcement was very brief, offering little more than a date. We do know, however, from the most recent developer update that the Junkenstein’s Revenge mode is coming back with a few minor tweaks.

We're also getting new skins, with one particularly special for Roadhog. These skins haven't been revealed yet, but judging by Blizzard's typical release cadence, we should be seeing more of them in the next few days leading up to Halloween Terror's launch.

The Torbjorn hero rework may also launch alongside the event in the same patch. It's been long enough that Blizzard could be confident in its current state.

Halloween Terror will be available until October 31. We'll be bringing you more details about the event as they're released.
