Destiny 2 Forsaken - Shattered Throne dungeon only active every three weeks

The Shattered Throne will only be available in Destiny 2 Forsaken every few weeks, and closes at the next reset.

Bungie had been promising regular new content with Destiny 2: Forsaken, and The Shattered Throne certainly delivered. This is Destiny's first dungeon, a new kind of quest which combines elements of raids and strikes. It can be completed by any team of three, but be warned: Bungie is only allowing a few more days to do so.

As announced at This Week In Bungie (via Polygon), the Shattered Dungeon isn't a permanent fixture like raids. It opens every three weeks when "the curse cycle is at its worst", and closes with the weekly reset. That means you'll still have opportunities to complete the dungeon during Season 4 and collect the Wish-Ender.

If you can't complete The Shattered Throne this weekend, it will be back the week of October 16, and again on November 6. If you are completing it this week, don't forget to check out our Shattered Throne guide for tips and tricks.

The reset occurs on October 2, at which point Xur's latest inventory will disappear as well.
