A week before the release of Telltale’s first The Walking Dead game, most of the developers were taking a much-needed break.
That wasn't the case for two of the devs, however. They were still in the office to squash last minute bugs, and going “stir-crazy” - no doubt from the long hours that went into getting the game done.
In those final days, creative director Sean Ainsworth made this silly, brilliant alternate ending to protagonist Lee’s story. Have a watch:
It’s hard to choose a favourite bit in a video where Lee wears half a zombie head, flips over a car, and pulls some Matrix s**t on a bunch of zombies, but those last few seconds are one of the best things I've ever seen. Crunch is a hell of a drug.
