Geralt of Rivia appears in latest Gwent Thronebreaker trailer

A certain White Wolf makes a surprise appearance in the new Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales story teaser.

Gwent's first single-player campaign, Thronebreaker, has grown from an impressive expansion to a standalone RPG in its own right. The full game offers a 30-hour branching narrative where each match determines the fate of Queen Meve's war effort. But that "Witcher Tales" subtitle isn't just for show - it seems Geralt of Rivia will debut as an in-game character.

The latest Thronebreaker trailer is more of a story teaser, showing brief glimpses of what to expect. But the key moment arrives just at the end, as Geralt faces the camera with a literal half-smirk. Considering the White Wolf is already a playable unit in Gwent's core game, perhaps Meve will call on his aid in this story as well.
