Remedy's big announcement is a New York Comic Con cast panel

You dirty friggin' teases, Remedy. Looks like the Max Payne studio is going to give us a fresh look at Control this evening at 5pm GMT.

Update: It seems Remedy's big announcement was a New York Comic Con cast panel reveal. Creative director Sam Lake and voice actor Courtney Hope will attend, as will two unrevealed cast members. We stand by our dirty tease statement.

If you're attending NYCC, you can see the panel on Friday October 5, 2018.

Original Story: The Finnish developer shared the following tweet last night:

Now, either it’s going to provide new info/a fresh trailer/gameplay snippets for its upcoming, reality-bending adventure, or… um, Max Payne 2 Remastered is going to be a thing.

Yeah, that’s probably not going to be a thing.

The studio also shared the most naughty of teases on Instagram, with a shot that appears to show off the tiniest section of the game’s mysterious Oldest House – the physics-defying government building the third-person shooter takes place in:

DAT tiny slice of architecture. Someone throw ice water on our simmering loins.

Don’t be surprised if Remedy shows off more of this Inception-like structure. Will Remedy give us a virtual tour of the Federal Bureau of Control’s spooky headquarters? You won’t have long to wait to find out.

We recently saw Control at Gamescom, where Remedy gave us a brief glimpse of the secret physics sauce powering its telekinetic action. Whereas Quantum Break used Havok physics, the team’s latest trippy title deploys an as yet unnamed form of middleware for its shape-shifting shootouts.

Let’s hope we get some extended gameplay footage tonight because Control already looks to be the most interesting game out of Remedy since it sold the rights to its alchie, bullet-dodging cop.
