The leader of Just Cause 4’s Black Hand is ready to deal with a threat like Rico.
Avalanche Studios has unveiled several new features of Just Cause 4, but we still know remarkable little about his enemies – the Black Hand. This latest trailer is meant to address that, providing a glimpse of its leader Gabriela Morales.
In the world of Just Cause 4, the Black Hand is the world’s largest private army, now working against US interests in the fictional South American country of Solis. As its commander, Gabriela isn’t afraid of Rico in the slightest – in fact, she seems to feel a kind of kinship with him.
Regardless, the people of Solis agree that Rico won’t be able to defeat Gabriela on his own. Instead, he’ll need his own army that can handle the Black Hand, one the story campaign will provide to you.
After returning to his homeland in Just Cause 3, giving Rico a direct competitor as an antagonist seems like a natural direction for the series. We’ll see how engaging a villain Gabriela can be when the latest game launches on December 4, 2018.
Just Cause 4 will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
