Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee - Legendary Pokemon battles and connectivity to Pokemon Go detailed

Details on Pokemon Go connectivity to Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee were provided by Nintendo today, along with confirmation of Legendary battles.

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company announced how Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee will incorporate aspects of Pokemon Go.

In Let’s Go, Pikachu and Eevee, players will use a Bluetooth connection to transfer creatures captured in Pokemon Go. Upon transfer, players can use these Pokemon on their adventures through the Kanto region.

Pokemon Go Park Complex

Pokemon transferred from Pokemon Go will appear in a place called the Go Park Complex, located in Fuchsia City.

The complex is made up of 20 individual Go Parks and players can keep up to 50 Pokemon in each one. They basically work as a stable of sorts.

To take one stored in the Go Park complex, the player will need to find and catch them within a Go Park first.

Players aren't limited to connecting with just their own Pokemon Go account, as there isn't a limit to the number of Pokemon Go accounts that can be tied to a single save file. This means players can receive Pokemon from friends and family too.

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will also be able to battle and trade Pokemon, but only with friends.

Feed Candies to your Pokemon

Once 25 of the same species of Pokemon are stored in the Go Park complex, a special mini-game will be available allowing the player to win Candies.

By using Candies, players will be able to power up their Pokemon which will raise its specific stats. Different types of Candies will have different effects. Some can increase attack, and others can increase speed or defense.

Candies can be obtained in a variety of ways. This includes transferring Pokemon to Professor Oak; successfully completing games in the Go Park complex’s Play Yard; or by taking Pokemon for a walk using the Poke Ball Plus device.

Fight Legendary Pokemon

Legendary Pokemon battles were confirmed for Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee today.

In the Kanto region of either game, players will be able to find several Legendary Pokemon, including  Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres.

As usual, these creatures are caught through battle instead of the normal means.  Once captured, Legendary Pokemon can be brought along on the player's adventure.

Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee release on November 16.  If you need more information, here's everything we know about the game.
