Luigi's Mansion 3 revealed for Nintendo Switch
After teasing a trailer that involved Luigi’s surprise “death”, Nintendo has announced that Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
Given their penchant for releasing ports of much older Nintendo games, fans originally thought this was a trailer for the remake of the original Luigi’s Mansion for the GameCube, which is due October 12 for the Nintendo 3DS. Instead, an entirely new game will be released that will revitalise the franchise.
There aren’t many details available about Luigi’s Mansion 3’s content, but the trailer does show our second favourite plumber exploring yet another haunted house with his hoover.
The Luigi’s Mansion port for the 3DS will also have amiibo compatibility and a multiplayer feature.
