Geralt’s voice actor hasn’t been called in to do any lines for Cyberpunk 2077

A year back, the voice actor behind The Witcher’s Geralt, Doug Cockle, said CD Projekt was open to giving him a small cameo in Cyberpunk 2077. It looks like this might not happen now, however.

In a recent interview, I asked Cockle what he was currently working on and he told me it was a range of indie projects that he couldn’t talk about.

“I’m not currently attached to any triple-A projects,” he explained. Cyberpunk 2077 is certainly a triple-A project, but he’s not currently involved.

“I’m not [working on Cyberpunk 2077] actually, so I don’t even have to lie about that,” he said. “Whether I will or not is a different question.

“They’ve kind of hinted that they want to get me involved in some way, shape, or form. But what that might be? Who knows, and it may never happen.”

You can follow Doug Cockle on Twitter. If you want to read more about the actor, keep an eye on the site tomorrow for our big interview about the evolution of Geralt.
