PokeStop nomination beta for Pokemon Go starting soon in select locations

Niantic Labs will soon start testing a PokeStop nomination system for Pokemon Go.

A small number of Pokemon Go players in two regions will be selected to beta test Niantic's new PokeStop nomination system.

This will be the first time players will be able to submit locations in Pokemon Go.

The first beta test of the new PokeStop nomination system will be limited to 40 adult Trainers in Brazil and Korea.

Those who meet the the initial requirements will be able to nominate potential PokeStops by submitting photographs and descriptions of the locations.

Submissions will be reviewed by experienced users in the Ingress Operation Portal Recon (OPR) project.

Niantic said it plans to expand the program to other countries in the future.
