The Division is free to play all weekend on PC through Steam

The Division is free-to-play this weekend on Steam.

Steam users can download and play The Division all weekend, and progress will carry over upon purchase.

During the free play period, The Division will be 70% off. With the discount applied, the base game will run you $14.99, and the Gold Edition $26.99.

Outfit packs and the Season Pass are also on sale for 70% off.

The free weekend ends in two days on September 9. That should be plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the basics ahead of The Division 2.

Out March 15 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, those who purchase the Gold or Ultimate Editions pf The Division 2 can play three days early.
