Paul McCartney's hot banger is back in Forsaken

Destiny 2: Forsaken launched less than 24 hours ago and already the team at  PCGamesN have found what is probably the best feature in the entire game.

Matt recorded a 10-minute gameplay video at the Forsaken preview event and less then two minutes in he discovers a lost sector called the Empty Tank, which he described as "a Star Wars-style cantina, which is very not-Destiny, but is quite fun.”

When he enters the area, some interesting bluegrass music is playing before switching to Paul McCartney’s slammin’ original track for Destiny, “Hope for the future”. This isn’t the first time Bungie has used the track in either of the games; in Destiny, you could view the video in the lounge in the Tower. You were also able to hear it during the Destiny 2 Beta, Homecoming, if you lingered by the lounge door long enough.

GamesRadar has also reported hearing the tune in Forsake in the Spider’s Lair, where the song will play in brief sections whilst you shoot up some Vandals and a Captain.

We’re still working our way through Forsaken here at VG247 so will be able to keep you updated on whether “Hope for the future” frequents even more areas of the game.
