Hitman 2 is bringing back all Season 1 locations, and they're free to owners of the original

All six locations from Season 1 of Hitman will be playable in Hitman 2.

IO Interactive, and Warner Bros. revealed this exciting Hitman 2 news today. As part of the game's Legacy Pack, Hitman 2 players will be able to revisit Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, Bangkok, Colorado, and Hokkaido.

All six maps will be "remastered", infusing them with all the new and updated features found in Hitman 2's new maps. This includes the updated AI, the ability to hide in foliage, picture-in-picture mode, the new progression system and difficulty modes, as well as of course the updated visuals.

Hitman's new toys, such as the briefcase, flash grenades, and dart gun will also be accessible on these maps. Similarly, all future gameplay updates and live content Hitman 2 receives will apply to Season 1 maps.

The idea is to have Hitman 2 be a one-stop shop for years' worth of content, and have all of it evolve alongside the game in the future.

The best part is that the Hitman Legacy Pack will be available to owners of Season 1 completely free. Though the press release doesn't explicitly say whether the pack will be available for sale for non-owners, this is likely the plan.

Hitman 2 launches November 13 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
