Warhammer: Vermintide 2 DLC Shadows over Bogenhafen releases later this month

The first DLC drop for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be released at the end of the month.

Fatshark has announced Shadows over Bogenhafen, the first major DLC drop to be released for Warhammer: Vermintide 2.

According to the developer, in the city of Bogenhafen, players will be "tested like never before by Grandfather Nurgle's unpleasant attentions.” Sounds rather ominous.

The video below teases the extra content, which will be released on August 28 for PC and Xbox One. Honestly, it doesn't show much. Just a snippet of a city shrouded in a strange fog and moonlight. But at least there's fireworks. Fireworks are fun.

In May, the first free content update to Vermintide 2 was released. It included daily challenges, quests and access to the Modded Realm. Over 100 new cosmetics such as skins, hats, and portrait frames were added.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 DLC Shadows over Bogenhafen will be released August 28. A price was not provided.
