Surgeon Simulator heads to Nintendo Switch with new co-op mode

Surgeon Simulator CPR will be the new "co-op ready" version of the game for Nintendo Switch.

Earlier this month, Nintendo stated that it had several unannounced Switch titles in the works. It now looks like one of these games is a new edition of Surgeon Simulator.

In case you missed the fuss on PC, PS4, or mobile devices: Surgeon Simulator is a humor game where the player must attempt to complete surgery on a patient using incredibly awkward controls. The difficulty increases in scenarios where your doctor must keep their patient alive in the back of a moving elevator, or in zero-gravity environments. Just try not to drop your watch into the patient.

The twist for the Switch is a "CPR" edition, which stands for co-op ready. Since the Switch version will use motion controls, presumably it will allow players to share Joy Cons and work together on medical procedures.
