After a six-year absence, Talim is returning to the fighting genre with Soulcalibur 6.

Talim has been a fan-favorite member of the Soulcalibur roster ever since she was introduced back in 2002, which made her absence from Soulcalibur 5 all the more surprising. Thankfully, Bandai Namco is bringing back the Last Priestess of the Winds, as seen in the latest character trailer.

Hailing from the Philippines, Talim is the daughter of a priestess with the ability to control the wind. In past games, she has undertaken quests for the Soul Edge not for power, but to protect humanity from its evil. She wields a pair of dual elbow blades, and makes up for limited range with lightning-fast speed.

Anyone who missed Talim’s cheerful spirit in the last game now has something else to look forward to. Soulcalibur launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 19, 2018.
