Pokemon GO will soon feature a Squirtle with sunglasses
Niantic has confirmed that you'll be able to catch an adorable, sunglasses-wearing Squirtle this summer.
Sometimes Pokemon GO is at its best when it implements the simple things. In this case, that includes a Squirtle decked out in sunglasses.
While no specific artwork is available this just yet, Niantic posted on Twitter (thanks IGN) that the Pokemon variant will be available for the upcoming Community Day.
If you'd like to catch him, simply take complete Field Research tasks on July 8 from 11am-2pm PT, 2-5pm ET, and 10 am- 1pm BST. You can download Pokemon GO for Android and iOS platforms.
