Left 4 Dead devs hiring for a sequel to "globally-known franchise"

Turtle Rock, the studio behind Evolve and Left 4 Dead, is hiring for an unannounced AAA title.

Turtle Rock Studios is hiring a senior level designer for an "an unannounced AAA title" in a "globally known game franchise," according to a job listing spotted on ResetEra.

The ad is looking for a candidate who has experience "working with modern FPS engines" and "demonstrated experience working on competitive FPSs" as well as "AAA First Person action titles", suggesting that the game may be a multiplayer FPS.

Back in 2016, Turtle Rock announced that it was working on a free-to-play co-op FPS with a "strong dark fantasy element to it."

We haven't heard much on the project since, and with the news that the studio is working on this new title, it seems like that game may not be in development anymore.

Evolve went free-to-play in July 2016 but the studio announced that the dedicated servers will be shutting down later this year, on September 3.
