Life is Strange 2 release date set for late September

Life is Strange 2 is headed for release this September.

Square Enix announced today a release date for Life is Strange 2, the sequel to Dontnod's lauded episodic title.

Like the original release, players can expect the story to span five episodes.

Neither Dontnod nor Square have provided details on the storyline or the cast of characters, but at least the game has a release date.

Life is Strange 2 releases on September 27 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

In the meantime, you can get your fix by playing The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.

Announced during E3 2018 last week, the free demo links to the Life is Strange sequel. It arrives next week on June 26 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

If you have yet to play the original game, start with the prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm. It is currently 50% off through the Steam sale.

The first episode of Life is Strange is currently free, and PC users can pick up the entire season Steam for 75% off.
