E3 2018: Fire Emblem Three Houses arrives in Spring 2019

Over a year after it's reveal, Fire Emblem Three Houses will make its way to the Switch in 2019.

Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Three Houses would launch on the Switch in what felt like an age ago, but a new release window is in sight. Sorry folks, it won't be arriving in 2018 after all. But delays or not, it looks great.

This new game takes place Fódlan, where the Church of Seiros exerts immense control over its people. The player can maneuver the main character freely and interact with other characters to build relationships and gather information at various points within the game.

On a gameplay front, players can take advantage of new troop formations that bring an extra strategic layer to each battle.

Otherwise, it seems we can expect more of the same characters and JRPG gameplay we've come to know and love. Players will get to know three main characters – Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude – who play key roles in the story.

Fire Emblem Three Houses will arrive on the Nintendo Switch sometime in Spring 2019.
