E3 2018: Babylon’s Fall is a new title from Platinum Games for PC, PS4

A new game from Platinum Games was announced during Square Enix’s E3 2018 press conference. It's called Babylon’s Fall.

Platinum Games has a new title in the works, Babylon's Fall, and it's looks like an RPG-action affair.

It was announced with a teaser trailer during the pre-recorded Square Enix E3 2018 presentation.

Platinum Games' Babylon's Fall:

The tagline at the end of the trailer reads: "Led by the Nomads, humanity strike back against Gaia."

Snippets of history are shown in the trailer, and at one point, it shows the birth of the goddess Gaia. In Greek mythology, she is the primordial deity of the Earth and the ancestral mother of all life. Whether Greek mythology or a reference to the Hellenistic period of the actual city of Babylon will be incorporated remains to be seen. We're just thinking out loud.

The history of the game world goes on from there, and you can read the clips yourself.

Not much on the game is known at present, not even the official website tells us anything, but it looks rather great.

Babylon's Fall is set for release in 2019 on PC and PlayStation 4. Considering it will be be made available on Sony's console, it's possible we may hear more on it tonight during the PS4 briefing.
