Pokemon Quest hits over one million downloads on Switch

Pokemon Quest is already a hit, but considering the IP, the news isn't surprising.

Nintendo announced and released Pokemon Quest for Switch just two days ago, and it's already reached over one million downloads (thanks, Nintendo Everything).

Pokemon Quest is a “free to start” game where players explore an island and complete quests. Players take their Pokemon on expeditions in search of loot, which can be used to make friends with other Pokemon.

Some of the loot comes in the form of ingredients which can be cooked to attract various Pokemon from the Kanto Region.

Players can also upgrade their creatures with Power Stones discovered along the way.

Pokemon Quest will also release on Android and iOS in late June.

Nintendo also announced Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee this week. Both titles will be available starting November 16, and feature integrations with Pokemon Go.
