Fortnite Close Encounters LTM is live
Fortnite's new shotguns and jetpacks mode begins today, May 25. Prepare for carnage.
Update: Whoops! It appears the mode has been shut down just after it started. Stay patient.
OG story: Called Close Encounters LTM, the mode floods the map with shotguns and jetpacks. Heavy Shotguns and Jetpacks are found in chests and supply drops. Other shotguns are spawned on the map.
The Storm Circle will move much quicker in this mode during the mid to late game, meaning matches will last about 15 minutes.
If you're looking to complete any Challenges requiring shotgun eliminations then get involved, because stats are turned on and being tracked.
