Josh Brolin, the actor playing Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, was shown a video of dancing Thanos in Fortnite.
For all of Brolin’s talents, he just doesn’t understand why Thanos would dance. Fortnite’s Infinity Gauntlet mode lets players become Thanos for a few minutes by equipping the gauntlet.
But Fortnite has a lot of emotes, and players are used to dancing and emoting at a moment’s notice, which means there’s a lot of clips of Thanos dancing.
The man behind the character, Josh Brolin, is not totally on board with dancing Thanos. Brolin was shown a clip of Thanos in Fortnite by IGN during an interview, and you can definitely tell he doesn’t play many video games.
“I’ve been seeing this Fortnite thing everywhere. Fortnite, Thanos and all that – and I had no idea what anybody was talking about,” he said.
When he lays eyes on the bit of dancing Thanos, Brolin replies, “Why is he dancing? I don’t understand. I don’t know if I like that.”

The unlikely mashup of Fortnite and Avengers: Infinity War happened because the film directors play the game a lot, but it sounds like Brolin wasn’t involved in this particular deal.
In other Fortnite news, the game’s Week 3 Challenges have leaked ahead of their official launch this week.
