The Empress in Full Bloom Challenge Quest is live in Monster Hunter World, and if you want to grab Sakura’s armor, now’s your chance.
Monster Hunter World players on PlayStation 4 can take part in the Empress in Full Bloom Challenge Quest right now.
This three-part Street Fighter 5 quest rewards the player with Sakura’s armor. It’s very straight forward, but we’re here to help walk you through it anyway.
How to get the Sakura Street Fighter 5 Set in Monster Hunter World
To take part in the quest, you will need to visit the gathering hall, speak to the Arena Lass, scroll to the last page and choose the Challenge Quest Empress in Full Bloom Each quest is identical and each will provide the player with the event ticket needed to craft the armor. Players can choose to do any or all if they want to, as the only difference between them is the loadout.
Because these are challenges quests, these loadouts will be predetermined with weapons particular to Sakura. Whether your player is male or female, the player will enter the arena as Sakura.
In order to participate, players must be at Hunter Rank 12 because they will be taking on a high rank Pink Rathian. The creature’s armor is tough during normal play, so expect more of a challenge when entering the area.
It’s back, neck and tail can be touch to penetrate, and this particular Rathian is faster and far stronger than the regular green version. It shares the same abilities and weaknesses for the most part, however, so if you need some pointers, here’s a list of the creature’s strengths and weakness.
Defeating the Pink Rathian will reward the player with Street Fighter 5 Ticket #2. If defeated at A Rank, three tickets will be awarded; B Rank earns two tickets and C Rank earns one ticket.
In order to craft Sakura’s armor set in Monster Hunter World, four tickets are required along with four Hunter King Coins; four Rathian Coins, and six Pink Rathian Scale +.
After acquiring the materials needed to craft the armor, head over to the Smithy and scroll down to full armor sets.
The armor also grants Sakura’s voice and, like Aloy from the Horizon: Zero Dawn event, this gear can be worn by male or female players. And like Aloy’s armor, it has to be worn as a set and cannot be layered. Just something to keep in mind.
If you give the video from Arekkz a watch, he goes over the armor’s skill sets and the various slots available.
Players have until May 17 this time out to acquire Sakura’s armor. You can check out the current Monster Hunter World schedule through the link.
Next week, another Ryu armor set is coming and it’s a higher ranked version compared to the set doled out in February. Plus, it’s Ryu’s Satsui no Hado form, or his badass Dark Form if you will.
In this three part arena quest, The Awakened Satsui no Hado, players will need to be at Hunter Rank 13 or higher. They will be fighting a Nergigante when it kicks off on May 11.
