Beyond Good and Evil 2 gameplay footage show co-op armadas, melee combat

The Beyond Good and Evil 2 livestream today showed off some gameplay along with combat.
Gameplay, melee combat, and a look at navigation was presented today during the Beyond Good and Evil 2 stream.
As you can see in the video below, players will be able to navigate their spaceship, use jetpacks, and keep up with their co-op comrades while flying through the game world as a space armada.
Some pre-alpha swordplay was shown alongside some work-in-progress footage of Shani swinging her staff.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is without a release date, but hopefully more information will be provided during Ubisoft’s E3 2018 presentation.
