God of War side quest guide: Lost and Found - where to find the lost toys

Kratos’ latest story isn’t a linear as previous entries to the series, and there are plenty of side quests and distractions to keep you searching every nook and cranny throughout Midgard. The first proper side-quest you’ll likely come across is Lost and Found, where Kratos picks up some lost toys in hope that they’ll be worth something down the line. Here’s where to find the lost toys in the Lost and Found sidequest.

There are four toys to collect to complete the set, with a couple being harder to find that the others.

First toy

You’ll probably spot this toy first, it’s right next to the path that you run past on your hunt with Atreus.

Second toy

This one’s a little more difficult to find. After a fight with some Draugr, you’ll come to a crossroads. In front of you, will be a puzzle room with a glowing Idunn Apple chest.

Facing that puzzle room, take the right hand path and follow the road. You’ll come to a chain, so climb down.

Here you’ll fight some hungry wolves. Once you’ve beaten them, turn to the left hand side of the clearing, the second toy will be on the ground here.

Third toy

You’ll be able to see the clearing where this toy is before you can get to it.

After you’ve taken the left hand path at the crossroads with the puzzle room, you’ll see a frozen lake on your right. You can see glowing items on the surface, but you can’t reach it yet.

Keep following the path until you enter a ruined building.

Once you’ve descended some stairs and cleared out the main hall, your path will be blocked by a stuck gate.

Before you clear the gate, turn around and walk towards the wall adjacent to the staircase you used to enter the room. There’s a door here that leads out onto the frozen lake you saw earlier. Defeat the monsters and search the edges of the clearing for the next toy.

Fourth toy

As Kratos and Atreus head home, stop before going into their house. There’s a large clearing in front of the lodge, with some large boulders in the ground. As you’re stood in front of Kratos’ house facing the clearing, head around the back of the boulder in front of you and to the left. The final toy is here.

If you miss this one by going into the house, don’t sweat - you can easily come and collect it after what happens next.
