Fortnite’s biggest streamer is twice as popular as the UFC’s biggest star

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, the most popular Fortnite streamer in the world, gets more fan interaction than Conor McGregor, the biggest fighter in the UFC.

Ninja ranked third in a list of social interaction analytics among all the world’s top athletes, just beneath basketball player LeBron James and football star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ninja was third in social interactions among all "athletes" last month

Admittedly, these figures are taken from March, which is when Ninja got his face on CNBC.

It was just the other week when Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor hit the headlines for throwing a metal railing at a bus full of UFC fighters, landing himself in trouble with the law, so things may well shift around again for this month.

Still, the results are incredibly surprising - McGregor is the UFC’s most bankable star. It just goes to show how much of an all-consuming global phenomenon Fortnite has become when a Twitch streamer is ranked among the world's top athletes.
